The short version: this site exists for the exchange of information and ideas about growing corn. Use it in good faith, don’t treat it as professional advice, and keep politics out of your comments. If you’re good with that, you can stop reading here.

What this site is

https://growmorecorn.com is developed for the exchange of information and ideas. It’s a personal journal of one farmer’s notes, photos, and submitted recipes. It’s not a commercial product, a consulting service, or a substitute for professional agricultural advice.

Equipment and product mentions

While various equipment and supplies may be identifiable in posted pictures, the promotion of any specific product or equipment is not intended and none will be made. If you see a brand of fertilizer, a model of tractor, or a particular tool in a photo, take it as part of the story being told, not as an endorsement.

Comments and submissions

When you email me a comment, recipe, or photo, you’re giving me permission to publish it on the site, with the credit you’ve asked for, or anonymously if you’ve asked for that. I may edit submissions for length and clarity but I won’t change the meaning.

Likewise, keep politics out of your comments. This site isn’t the place for it. Submissions that try to turn it into one will be ignored.

Use of the site’s content

The writing and photos I publish here are mine. You’re welcome to share them, quote them, and link to them. If you want to republish a substantial piece somewhere else, send me a note and we’ll figure it out.

Recipes submitted by readers belong to whoever sent them. I publish them with permission and the credit they asked for.

No warranties

Everything on this site is offered as one farmer’s experience, not as professional advice. What worked in my field may not work in yours. Soil, climate, equipment, and timing all vary. Use anything you read here at your own discretion, and check with your local extension office or a qualified advisor for decisions that matter.

Changes to these terms

If anything about how this site operates changes in a way that affects these terms, I’ll update this page. The “last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent change.
